We’re Over the Moon for Flea Market Flip!

Chelsea Flea Market

HGTV’s Flea Market Flip filmed an episode back in the fall of 2014 at Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market.  Over 3 filming days they equipped two teams with $500 to shop for merchandise, flip it and then re-sell it at the market.

The challenge was on as seasoned pros and antique shop owners Gina & Mark Dobrowolski took on a couple of rookies to find and flip some great merchandise from Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market.

According to the New Jersey Herald, “they spent their team’s $500 on a big wire spool, a pulley, an old iron crib and a couple of decrepit chairs.”

Once they had a chance to fix up and refurbish the merchandise their next challenge was to sell it to shoppers at Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market. Who won the challenge? Tune into HGTV this Saturday afternoon and find out. Then take a trip to the markets for yourself and see what treasures you can find!

The markets have always been a great resource for people that want to take an item and flip it into something magnificent. Take Gina’s advice and have a vision in mind of what you’re looking for and what you want to do.
