Don’t be Afraid to DIY: a simple DIY project will cost only a few hours of your weekend afternoon but will pay off in residual dividends with a fabulous end product.

Take it to the Tailor: finding an awesome deal on vintage clothing is always a win! Make it work in your wardrobe by sending the piece to your favorite tailor for them to alter it to your perfect fit. Or if you’re “sew inclined,” make the alterations at home.

Repurpose & Reuse: as the saying goes “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” Don’t let the limitations of an object keep you from repurposing it for other uses. Think outside of the box, repurpose and reuse.
