How long have you been selling vintage clothing & accessories?

I've been buying and selling vintage since college, but the customization service is a recent addition that's been met with much praise from our loyal buyers. All tailoring and other custom work is done in New York by a skilled team of artisan craftsmen with over 75 years of combined experience. The "Made in America" philosophy is a part of our core values as a brand, and we love doing our part to support local garment manufacturing businesses.

What inspired you to get into this business?

I've been interested in fashion history since high school when I started interning at local vintage and antiques stores in my hometown of Jersey City. The love for the hunt intensified during an extended stay in Paris where I became obsessed with the City's active flea market culture.

After college I went on to work as a stylist with a variety of brands and publications including Versace, W Magazine, Interview Magazine and more. My work in fashion has refined my eye for style, and also ignited a passion in me for the various ways in which vintage is used by both consumers and designers alike.

What do you love about vintage items?

We specialize in providing a unique edit of the vintage items that our clients crave. I love our client's imagination when it comes to customizing their favorite pieces. For this market we'll be introducing our Moore Vintage Collection, which will include a selection of designer vintage items that have already been customized and tailored by hand in Brooklyn.

I love how shopping for vintage is such a personal and intimate experience, which is what makes it such a thoughtful gift especially during this Holiday season. It's always incredible to see the excitement in a client's eyes when they see the potential in an item on the rack, and it brings me great pleasure to provide this service.

What can shoppers expect to find at your booth?

Clients should expect to find an easy and effortless shopping experience. We're minimalists so we're not huge fans of clutter. Shoppers can expect to find gifts for anyone on their holiday shopping list. We're also offering a first-hand look at all the pieces from the Moore Vintage Collection that appear in our recent look book. Most of all, shoppers can expect to be greeted by a smiling, knowledgeable team, that is equipped to help with all their Holiday shopping needs.
